David M. Shearer, MD

Director

Dr. David Shearer brings a wealth of knowledge to CareXchange with over 40 years of experience in healthcare, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. With 13 years of experience as a non-profit director, this is his second launch of a 501(c)(3) organization. Dr. Shearer is highly respected in the scientific community and is well-published in medical research. His leadership in both the healthcare industry and non-profit sector is invaluable as CareXchange continues to grow and impact lives. When not leading CareXchange, David enjoys [personal interest or hobby].

Dorothy M. Shearer, MS, RN

Director

Dorothy Shearer has over 45 years of experience in the nursing profession and brings a deep commitment to both healthcare and education. With 13 years of non-profit directorship under her belt, Dorothy has also taught at numerous universities and delivered keynote addresses to large audiences across the United States. Her experience as a nurse and educator enriches the CareXchange mission, ensuring we stay grounded in compassionate, patient-centered care. Outside of CareXchange, Dorothy enjoys [personal interest or hobby].

Joseph Kovacevic, III, B.S.

Director

Joe Kovacevic is a seasoned entrepreneur and influencer with 25 years of experience driving successful businesses in real estate, passive lending, and trucking. His innovative approach to financial solutions—including creativity and velocity banking—helps CareXchange provide structured, sustainable financial models for our members. Joe has taught hundreds of people the importance of financial freedom and has a strong commitment to community service, having volunteered as a firefighter for 30 years. Joe’s passion for financial independence and service to others makes him a key asset to our team. When not working, Joe enjoys [personal interest or hobby].

Together, we can remind each other of the importance of God’s love, balance, nutrition, self-care, vitality, and a positive outlook as we live our best lives possible. At CareXchange, we turn healthcare challenges into opportunities by combining allopathic and holistic modalities in a cost-effective manner through a network that shares healthcare costs, offering an affordable alternative to insurance and promoting preventative care. There are natural options for most of the ailments facing society, and when there are not, at least a combined effort of a complementary strategy to address root causes can not only be more effective, but more cost-effective.

CareXchange offers a community driven model that pools resources to cover costs, providing allopathic and holistic care options. It’s straightforward.
